Defining business objectives

Defining business objectives is part of creating a business application. Creating a business application involves:

• Assigning a name
• Assigning key attributes
• Building the business architecture
• Building the technical architecture
• Defining the business objectives
• Defining the application team
• Defining stakeholders

Complete Assigning a name, Assigning Key Attributes, Building the business architecture, and Building the technical architecture if you have not already done so.

To define business objectives:

1. Select the business application from the Home page, select the Overview tab, and then select the Business Objectives sub-tab.

2. Click + Add From Library.

3. Use the resulting dialog box to select business objectives from the Objectives Library pane to the Current Objectives pane, and then click Submit.

4. Click Save.

5. Continue to Defining the application team.
