To access the Technology Landscape Reports:

1. Click Reports in the left pane.

2. Click Portfolio > Technology Landscape Reports.

Understanding the Technology Landscape reports

This page provides a comprehensive overview of your organization's technology landscape through various visualizations and metrics.

• Summary Statistics: At the top, you'll find quick summaries of:

  • Total Applications
  • Business Capabilities
  • Technical Capabilities
  • Providers

• Applications By Lifecycle: This bar chart shows the distribution of applications across different lifecycle stages (for example, Active, Deploy, Emerging, End of Life, In Production).

• Applications By Application Classification: A pie chart displaying the breakdown of applications by type (for example, Business App, DevOps Tool).

• Applications By Hosting Model: This pie chart illustrates the distribution of applications across different hosting models (for example, HYBRID, PUBLIC CLOUD, Third party Hosted).

• Business Capabilities By Business Category: A bar chart showing the number of business capabilities in each category (for example, NoCategory, Core, Supporting, Strategic).

• Vendor Dependency: A pie chart representing the reliance on different vendors or development sources (for example, AppFaktors, Inc., In House developed, Microsoft and In house, Google etc.).

• Technical Capabilities By Adoption Phase: This horizontal bar chart displays the distribution of technical capabilities across various adoption phases (for example, NoAdoptionPhase, Already Deployed, Piloting, In Deployment, In Planning, No Plan, Matured).

How to use

• Click any chart to view a larger version or access more detailed information.
• Use these visualizations to gain insights into your application portfolio, business capabilities, and technology adoption status.
• Identify areas that may need attention, such as applications nearing end-of-life or capabilities with no adoption plan.
